Cleaning and caring for leather seats
Most modern automotive leather has a protective topcoat, while older or specialist finishes may behave differently. AVP tests the surface before treatment.
Cleaning removes body oils and transferred dirt with controlled agitation. A compatible protectant can support the finish without leaving a greasy shine.
Care products cannot reverse cracked coating, deep abrasion, colour loss or stretched material. Those conditions may require repair or recolouring by an appropriate specialist.
Steering wheels need especially restrained treatment so the grip remains clean and safe.
