An Audi interior can combine textured plastic, coated trim, piano black, metal, leather and multiple displays. Each surface needs the right cloth, cleaner and moisture level.

A low-residue process

Loose dust is removed first so it is not dragged across gloss-black trim. Cleaner is applied to the cloth or brush rather than sprayed into controls, and residue is levelled with a separate dry cloth.

A good dashboard finish is clean and even, not artificially glossy. Products that create reflections near the windscreen should be avoided.

Where a compatible interior protectant is useful, it is selected for the exact material. It cannot prevent all wear and should not be applied to screens, steering controls or surfaces that require grip.
