The cockpit is always in view, but effective care is about more than appearance. Controls should remain legible, displays streak-free and steering or pedal-adjacent surfaces free from slippery dressing.

Work from dry to damp

Vacuuming and soft brushing remove loose material from seats, seams and vents. The remaining surfaces are then cleaned according to whether they are leather, textile, plastic, metal, glass or a coated display.

High suction power alone does not guarantee a better result. Suitable nozzles, controlled contact and care around delicate seams matter more.

Odour needs a source

If odour remains, seats, carpet, ventilation and the luggage area need assessment. Fragrance or fogging cannot replace removal of the underlying contamination.

AVP defines interior treatment from the materials and condition rather than applying one method to every Audi cockpit.
