Classic engine bays can contain aged wiring, open breathers, carburettors, distributors, paper labels and finishes that do not tolerate modern wash methods.

Inspect cold and dry

AVP begins with a cool engine and identifies sensitive intake, ignition and electrical areas. Loose dust and residue are removed with controlled hand tools and material-compatible cleaners.

High-pressure water is not a routine finishing step. Even a small amount of moisture can cause problems if it reaches the wrong component, so access and containment matter more than the total volume used.

Separate cleaning from mechanical repair

Oil, fuel or coolant residue can indicate a leak that needs technical diagnosis before cosmetic work. Dressing should not conceal faults or cover belts, hot surfaces and electrical connections.

Engine-bay cleaning can improve inspection and presentation, but it does not preserve the engine mechanically or guarantee MFK acceptance.
