Competition vehicles collect rubber residue, road film and heat-related contamination under unusually demanding conditions. A compatible ceramic coating can make some deposits easier to remove and support routine cleaning.

The paint must first be inspected, cleaned and corrected to the agreed level. Product choice and curing conditions then need to suit the surface and the vehicle's operating environment.

A coating is not stone-chip protection and it does not make motorsport paint scratch-proof. Impact damage, hot contamination and aggressive cleaning still require care.
