Ceramic coatings for buses
Buses cover high mileages, face frequent washing and present a large painted area. After suitable preparation, an exterior coating can make routine cleaning more consistent and support gloss retention.
Exterior preparation comes first
Paint correction, where justified, is completed before the coating. Fleet livery, decals, repaired panels and washing chemistry all influence product choice and durability.
Interior surfaces are a separate project
Handrails, seats, floors, glazing and controls have their own material, fire, friction and hygiene requirements. An exterior ceramic coating cannot simply be applied throughout the cabin.
Any interior treatment needs operator approval and documented compatibility. It may support cleaning but does not disinfect the vehicle or remove the need for routine care.
For fleet work, AVP can begin with one representative vehicle and define the process before wider rollout.
