Correction follows the defect

The paint is washed, decontaminated and inspected before polishing. A test area determines whether one refining step is sufficient or whether deeper correction is both useful and safe.

Light defects may be removed or reduced substantially. Scratches through the clear coat, thin paint and previous repairs set limits that should be explained before work begins.

Polishing can improve presentation and support value retention, but it does not guarantee a sale price or a completely defect-free finish.
