What preparation does a Q² coating require?

Paint cleaning, suitable decontamination, any required correction and a low-residue panel wipe form the foundation. Q²M Prep is the final preparation stage, not a replacement for the preceding work.

When are Q²M Iron and Q²M Tar used?

Iron removes suitable iron-bearing particles, while Tar targets tar-like residue. They are used separately for the contamination and material before the paint is mechanically assessed or polished.

What matters more than the Q² Mohs product name?

A verified substrate, even application, controlled flash time and complete curing are decisive. Even a high-quality coating cannot compensate for poor preparation.

How do Q²M Cure and WetCoat differ in maintenance?

Cure is used as maintenance for suitable coated surfaces, while WetCoat is a wet-applied hydrophobic protection. The existing coating and planned maintenance sequence determine which product fits.

Can AVP combine GYEON with polishes from other brands?

Yes, when polishing residue is fully controlled and Prep and the coating are compatible with the prepared paint. AVP assesses the complete layer build rather than individual product names.
